Sheets & Paquette Dental Philantropy

At Sheets & Paquette, we are dedicated to giving back to the community and nation that we live in. Our staff on an individual and collective basis is involved heavily in multiple local charity efforts. We have done this through organized charity projects and independent office initiatives.

The most significant Sheets & Paquette philanthropic effort has been the almost twenty year involvement of our doctors and staff in the founding, volunteering and long-term support of The Children's Dental Center (TCDC) in Inglewood, California and ultimately the formation of the National Children's Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF). TCDC is a non-profit dental center that cares for the children of working poor parents with the goal of not only treating but also teaching preventive methods that eliminate pediatric dental disease. To date, thousands of Los Angeles and Orange County children have been helped, saving millions of taxpayer dollars and needless suffering amongst our poorest children in Southern California.

Inspired by the TCDC prototype program, the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation was established in 2006. This program is based on the three-pronged approach of treatment, prevention and education. In only a few short years, the NCOHF has centers in most of the 50 states and has a goal of caring for 5 million children and educating 20 million children and their families annually by year ten. It is already ahead of schedule!
